ANONYME'', headquartered at 23, Filellinon str, 10557 Athens, with VAT Number 801243187 F.A.E. Athinon and
Business Registration (GEMI) Number 152538301000 operating under licence number 0206E70000779001 granted by
the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
Transaction Terms
The use of the website, theferries.com, is governed by the present General Terms and Conditions applied to
all booking orders and purchases, either made electronically or through telephone call, which the Users accept
when making a booking or purchasing a ticket by the THE FERRIES.
ΤΗΕ FERRIES operates as an intermediary between the Users of the website, theferries.com (referred to from
here on as the “User” or the “Users”) and the providers of the Tickets and the Services (referred to from here
on as “Providers”). Hence, the Users are obliged to go through and consult the Terms of Use of the respective
Providers.
Reservations
The Users of Services and recipients of Tickets which are provided through the website, theferries.com,
must be over 18 years of age, have transactional capacity and, in case they act on behalf of third persons,
they must be legally authorized to do so. Each User bears the sole responsibility for the eventual use of the
website by minors, on his behalf.
Each time a User makes a reservation through the website, theferries.com, ή through the phone, at numbers
that are specified the company, the User gives and explicit order to THE FERRIES to mediate with the
respective Provider with regard to the provision of the Service. The order is binding for the User, who must
pay the price, unless otherwise stated in the present General Terms.
Should changes in the reservation of Service occur because of the Provider, THE FERRIES will try to the best
of its abilities and power to communicate with the User to inform him/her, as soon as those changes come THE
FERRIES’ knowledge by the Provider of Service. THE FERRIES bears no responsibility for changes to the
reservation of Tickets or Services, or for additional expenses which those changes may incur, if those are due
to the Provider or other factors which lie beyond the control and outside the sphere THE FERRIES’
responsibility.
The User is obliged to familiarize himself/herself with the terms and conditions applicable on the provision
of goods and Services of third Providers, which are promoted through the website, theferries.com, and
comply with the above, as well as with the rules of transactions, which are set forth by the Providers in
question.
ΤΗΕ FERRIES reserves the right to reject the User’s orders, in the event he or she has provenly violated the
present General Terms.
Prices
ΤΗΕ FERRIES assumes no responsibility neither for the pricing, the fares and the applicable taxes, nor for
eventual changes to the above or cancellation fees or other charges in case of a modification or cancellation
of the voyage, should the above be the responsibility of the Provider or of a Third Party, besides THE
FERRIES.
If a remuneration or commission for the mediation services offered by THE FERRIES, is applied, that
remuneration is included in the overall price and the relevant charge distinctly appears before the final step
of payment by the User.
Methods of Payment
The payment for the reservation of tickets, or any other service offered on the website, theferries.com,
is possible via credit / debit card, of the specific type mentioned on the website, theferries.com, and
will be made by the User, as mentioned on the website, theferries.com.
The User is transferred automatically to the relevant payment page of the co-operating with THE FERRIES
Provider of Payment Services where he/she enters the details of their credit / debit card. THE FERRIES takes
no knowledge of the above-mentioned User’s details, nor is it involved in the transaction process that takes
place between the User and and Provider of the Payment Services.
Users must use a credit / debit card of which they are the lawful owner and authorized user. In the event of
use of such a card owned by a third person, the User needs to present a written and specific authorization or
consent of the lawful owner.
THE FERRIES is not required to issue the Tickets or transfer any other travel documents to the User before
he/she concludes the payment and will not reserve the Ticket or any other Service unless the payments has been
successfully concluded.
Confirmation
The confirmation of the reservation or purchase of a Ticket or Service is made via an e-mail, which is sent to
the User. The User must verify the details of the information included in the confirmation and notify within
maximum twenty-four (24) hours THE FERRIES for any eventual discrepancies or omissions from the data that
he/she entered. The untimely reporting of discrepancies does not substantiate the withdrawal from the contract
of the User with THE FERRIES.
Ticket Dispatch – Collection
The User may collect the Tickets at the agencies authorized by the respective ferry operator at the port of
departure.
If the User wishes so, the tickets can be sent to him/her by courier, at extra cost, which varies depending on
the location and date of delivery. The relevant charge is made known to the User before the final step of
payment.
If the User, for any reason, needs to return the tickets to THE FERRIES, he/she will bear the delivery cost.
Travel documents
The User of the Products and Services of the website, theferries.com, bears the full responsibility for
the provision, issuance and possession of all travel and accompanying document, which are necessary for the
voyage. THE FERRIES is by no means responsible for any negligence or damage incurred due to eventual
incapacity or omission by the User regarding the necessary travel documents.
Modifications - Cancellations
The feasibility of modification or cancellation of a Ticket as well as the terms governing such modification
of cancellation are subject to the general terms and cancellation terms set forth by each ferry operator or
Provider. The User is obliged to read and accept the terms of use and the terms of modification or
cancellation of the respective ferry operator or Provider (by case).
Modifications - Cancellations
The feasibility of modification or cancellation of a Ticket as well as the terms governing such modification
of cancellation are subject to the general terms and cancellation terms set forth by each ferry operator or
Provider. The User is obliged to read and accept the terms of use and the terms of modification or
cancellation of the respective ferry operator or Provider (by case).
The User must inform THE FERRIES in writing at [email protected] and, in any case, at least forty-eight (48)
hours before the departure of any eventual modification or cancellation he/she wishes. If the
previously-mentioned deadline or the means of notification are not respected then THE FERRIES is not obliged
to proceed to any actions for the cancellation or modification of the reservation.
In the event that the ferry operator or the Provider allows the cancellation or modification of the Ticket,
the eventual cost imposed by the ferry operator burdens exclusively the User. Further to that amount, THE
FERRIES will charge cancellation or modification fee of five (5,00) euro.
If the ferry operator or the Provider, following a modification or a cancellation, refunds part of the value
of the original Ticket, then THE FERRIES will credit the refund on the debit / credit card which was used for
the Ticket purchase, within 10 working days, provided that the User has returned any tickets delivered to
him/her, to THE FERRIES’ office.
In that case, the eventual remuneration/commission of THE FERRIES for the conclusion of the reservation is not
refunded.
In case of an automatic rejection of a reservation for security reasons, the refund will be made immediately
to the User.
Liability of THE FERRIES
ΤΗΕ FERRIES assumes no responsibility for:
1. the non-availability of any of the Services offered
2. errors and omission pertaining exclusively the respective Provider of Tickets or Services
3. injury, death, property or any other damage, that may result from the Services of the respective Provider
4. reasons of force majeure (indicatively, strike, delays, overbooking, pandemics and restrictive measures due
to pandemics, which are enforced by the Authorities) which are not under the control of ΤΗΕ FERRIES.COM
5. extra charges which may be incurred during receipt of the tickets at the central offices of the ferry
operators
6. information which is made public by the respective Providers regarding the Services offered
User Responsibility
The User is obliged to and must use the website, theferries.com, according to the Law and in compliance
with the present or any other Terms of Use. It is strictly prohibited any use of the website,
theferries.com, for purposes which are misleading, speculative or may cause disfunction in the provision
of Services by the website, theferries.com.
Eventual non lawful actions during the use of the website, theferries.com, by a specific User, will entail
his/her exclusion from access to the provided Services.
Intellectual Property
ΤΗΕ FERRIES has the sole ownership and is the exclusive beneficiary of the webpage, theferries.com,
content and copyrights. It is forbidden to copy, distribute, resell or, in any other way, exploit the content
of the website, create derivative work, as well as mislead the public with regard to the real owner of this
webpage and its contents.

Access to the webpage, theferries.com, in order to perform a transaction and receive Services requires the
transmission to THE FERRIES, personal data of the Users, which is necessary to the successful completion and
the secure offer and receipt of Goods and Services, e.g. name, electronic address, postal address, telephone
number, etc.
With the transmission of the data required to perform each transaction, the User grants THE FERRIES with
his/her explicit consent for the collection, use and processing of personal data for the above purpose,
according to article 6 paragraph 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation of the Greek Legislation, as it
is applied at each time.

Choice of Law - Jurisdiction
The transactions between Users and THE FERRIES are governed by the Greek Law. The courts of Athens, Greece
have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from the present General Terms and the transactions
with THE FERRIES. Nothing contained in the present General Terms, including the present section, shall affect
the rights of the Users arising from the regulations regarding the protection of consumer rights.
